Slavoljub Jeremić Pera –Accordion/Vocals

Born in Serbia, Pera has been living in Salzburg since 1992. He has a Master’s in Education Sciences (2014) from Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg.

His passion for the accordion has been going strong for over 40 years now. Live performances in Europe, especially on the Balkan Peninsula, bear witness to this, as do guest appearances on several TV and radio shows.

Pera has taken part in many Yugoslavian and Austrian competitions and received awards, most recently winning 1st prize as an instrumentalist and singer at an event organized by the Serbian umbrella organization in Austria, Kulturschau der SerbInnen.

The music of the Balkans with its variety of rhythms and melodies fascinates Pera to this day. With his musical diversity and his openness to new musical paths, he is an essential pillar of the Ostbeatbend.
