Vladimir “Vlada“ Markovic                    Bass

The multi-instrumentalist par excellence.

Born in Serbia, Vlada studied the guitar, electric bass, double bass, keyboard, piano, viola and electric violin in the Faculty of Music at the University of Arts in Belgrade, the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and at the Högskolan för Scen och Musik in Gothenburg.

Some of his previous musical stopovers: Camerata Salzburg, Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Camerata Nordica, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Largo di Garda Festival Orchestra, and many more.

Vlada, who one can easily call a musical "child prodigy" without batting an eye, is a regular guest in the Ostbeatbend. With his energy, his zest for life and, last but not least, his enormous experience, he rounds off the Balkan groove with his bass guitar
